Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship for Ph.D students : Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship Scheme is available for Ph.D students who awnts continue their studies in India, This Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship was started in 1994 for doctorate, post graduate studies. This JNMF is availing for Indian Nationals and Nationals of other Asian Countries also. Upto 2013 this Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship was awarded for 620 students.
This Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship is given in diffrent areas of specialisation, candidates can apply in one of those specialization subject for this JNMF scholarship, This JNMF was established by Dr.D.Radhakrishnan on August 17th 1964 with a corpus fund of Rs.7 crores.
Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship areas of Subjects :
1) Indian History and Civilization
2) Sociology
3) Comparative Studies in Religion & Culture
4) Economics
5) Geography
6) Philosophy
7) Ecology & Environment
Candidates can apply in any one of the ares of above subject.
Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship Eligibility Conditions :
1) Candidate should have 60% marks in Graduation and post graduation.
2) Candidate should already admitted for ph.d in a recognised university.
3) Candidate age should not exceed 35 years.
4) candidate must do this course in regular full time basis.
5) Part time ph.d scholars won’t get this Scholarship.
Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship Duration :
Candidate can get this Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship upto 2 years.
Amount of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship :
1) Allowances for tuiton fee is Rs.18,000 per month
2) For Books, Stationary etc is Rs.15,000 per annum.
Last date to apply for Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship is May 2015.

Selection Process for Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship :
Short listed candidate will be called for an Interview, who are selected in an Interview will get the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship.

Required documents for Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship :
1) Application Form with the recent passport photo
2) Synopsis with a maximum limit of 1500 words with 1.5 spaced text
3) Report by the Guide/Monitoring Committee.
4) Demand Draft Rs.100/- in favour of JNMF.
