MHA Recruitment 2016: IB – Intelligence Bureau uder the MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) is requesting online applications to recruit in to 69 vacancies of personnel assistants all over India. Desired candidates can apply online before 20th Feb 2016. Candidates need to attend the entrance exam on 20th March 2016.

Eligibility Criteria – MHA Recruitment 2016:
Required Educational Qualification: 10+2 or its equal qualification with proficiency in stenography.
Required Skills: Intelligence Bureau under MHA : (i) Dictation: 10 minutes@ 100 words per minute. (ii) Skill test on computer-transcription of shorthand, 40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi)
Age Limitation: 18-27 years. Reserved candidates have age relaxation depending on the norms.
Personal Assistants of Intelligence Bureau – Candidate Selection Process:
1.Written Examination Details:
Objective type questions: 80 marks
Question paper contains Objective type questions and it contains total 80 marks
80 questions on General Studies / Awareness, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, etc.
Descriptive paper Descriptive paper: 70 marks
a) Essay in English/Hindi of not more than 300 words on a topic out of 4 choices: 25 marks b) English/Hindi comprehension: 15 marks
c) Test of English/Hindi language, antonyms, synonyms, one word substitution, etc: 30 marks
Duration: Total 2 hours Combined for Objective and Descriptive Paper
2. Stenography Skill Test: 50 marks
English or Hindi Shorthand @ 100 words per minute
(i) Dictation: 10 minutes @ 100 words per minute
(ii) Skill test on computer – transcription of shorthand, 40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi).
Duration: 10 minutes for shorthand & 40 minutes for transcription in English and 55 minutes for Hindi respectively, on computer only.
