Government of Maharashtra, the Principal on behalf of Board of Management of the institute invites application from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for following teaching posts on temporary and purely contract basis for the period of 11 months or till the regular candidate appointed/transferred by Government of Maharashtra. Government College of Engineering, Jalgaon has given an employment notification for the recruitment of 64 Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor vacancies in various departments on temporary basis. Age Limit: Candidate age should not be more than 62 years for post 1, 60 years for Post 2 & 58 years for Post 3 as on last date of application. Age Relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Serviceman/disabled candidate & Govt Servants is applicable as per Govt of Haryana rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess B.E/ B. Tech & M.E/ M. Tech with first class any one level in relevant branch of Engg & Ph.D in Engineering/ Technology for Post 1, 2, BE/ B.Tech & ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class/ equivalent/ B.Sc Mathematics & M.Sc Mathematics with First Class/ equivalents/ Master’s level with Good academic record with at least 55% marks/ Masters Degree in Business Administration/ Masters Degree in Physical Education/ Masters Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% of the marks for Post 3 with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, presentation & personal interview for Post 3 & Candidates will be short listed as per criteria of the institute for Post 1 & 2.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.600/- (Rs. 300/- for Reserved Category) by demand draft drawn in favor of Principal, Government College of Engineering Jalgaon.
