National Movements of India: This page comprises all National Movements of India and their timings respectively. By the time of British Regime many leaders and patriots lead movements to get freedom and sacrificed their lives for mother India. During the British reign many National movements were lead by great freedom fighters like Bala Gangadhar Thilak, Mahathma Gandhi. In those days British rulers made India as their colony for trade. British people treated Indian people very cruelly. So, consequently these national movements were started by Indian freedom fighters.
